Build Back Better and Bring Back Joy

Read the white paper here.

Great challenges find great leaders! A big shout out and thank you to Lew Horne, Gadi Kaufman, Claire de Briere and Marty Caverly, and the many team participants for their leadership and guidance in creating Project Recovery which was delivered to the City and County this week. Corion co-authored Project Recovery in collaboration with members of ULI, USC and UCLA to present a guide to quickly build back better and hopefully, substantially restore both communities before the Olympics in 2028. We are all called to be great leaders. Project recovery will be useless without community, stakeholder, and government support, collaboration, and cooperation. Divided we fail! Together, we can achieve miraculous things.

A recommended component of the white paper is to conduct a comprehensive, anonymous, and statistically significant survey to listen directly to the residents and businesses impacted by the fires to ensure that elected officials, policy makers, and rebuilding authorities’ response is both effective and aligns with needs and preferences. The survey will assess residents and stakeholder intentions and means relative to rebuilding their homes and businesses and will be used to inform community leaders, elected officials and policymakers on where and how to prioritize their efforts to facilitate the rebuilding and recovery effort to achieve the objectives of quickly, efficiently, sustainably, and equitably.

Please share and take the survey if you were impacted by the fires:

We thank you for your participation.
